If you really know me you know that cross-dressing is just about my biggest kink in the history of ever. I just love the idea of pretty androgynous boys and girls playing with concept of gender. I especially like the notion of pretty androgynous Bandom boys in lacy lingerie...





Ahem. Sorry about that, I got a little distracted there for a moment. :P

But seriously, I have a point here, and that point is that when I see "Warnings: Cross-dressing kink and light bondage" I naturally zero in like a fat kid on cake. And goddamn, ladies and gentlemen! I read this fic last night and I'm still having trouble putting together a coherent thought about it!

They Don't Love You (Like I love you) by buildyourwalls is hot like burning. No really, I'm surprised my computer doesn't have scorch marks all over it. It's primarily Brendon/Ryan with flavours of Brendon/Ryan/Keltie (though probably not enough to squick those who find the idea of that fearsome threesome unpalatable). I'm not sure what more I can say other than this: Brendon Urie in fishnets and a corset fucking Ryan Ross who has been tied to the bed with just that in mind. If that doesn't reduce your lady parts to a writhing mess of wanton lust, idk what will.

I would love to say more about this wonderful fic (like perhaps something useful about the writing or characterizations?) but my brain has honestly been rendered into goo. Just do yourself a favour read it >.>

Probably my favourite indie band, Kiss Kiss, released their first album last week - Reality vs. The Optimist - and guys... Oh, guys. It's fucking brilliant. Inventive, unique, lively - everything I could have asked for. I've been waiting months for this and it's lived up to each and every single expectation (and then some)! 

Kiss Kiss is a small band on Eyeball Records in New Jersey - MCR's and Thursday's old label. They're a five-piece who apparently put on one helluva live show (I wouldn't know. I'm not from Jersey), and have a unique sound that can only be described as Queen meets The Dresden Dolls meets I don't even know what, but something with a fucking ELECTRIC VIOLIN!

I just can't sing their praises enough. Please do yourself a favour and check them out. Oh, and subscribe to their MySpace blogs; Josh (lead singer) updates regularly and has a pretty fucking rad sense of humour.
