Christmas has come early! Well, Christmas fic at any rate. ;)

Thanks to all those who provided encouragement and a special thanks to pluginxbaby for the quick beta. This was a departure from what I normally write so I appreciate any critical feedback people may want to give (especially on characterization and style).

My birthday is on the 21st. They're obviously doing this on purpose so I have something fabulous to buy with the HMV gift certificates my clueless relatives will undoubtedly get me :D :D :D

Also, harmonicas and sliding guitars? Fuck YES, Ross. Especially if it's Brendon who plays the harmonica. Can't you see it? It would be so camp!

Hot damn!

Why on Earth is Panic!'s unreleased music on Heroes? *boggles* My roommates thought I was insane when I had a right royal freak out about it in the middle of the show, lol.

It sounds like studio recorded version - either a demo or maybe even the album version :D

This is probably the most self-conscious I've ever been about a fic. I originally wrote this in response to the April Contest at slashatthedisco   (and with some assistance from this lovely prompt over at we_are_cities  ), but I totally underestimated how much time and effort it would take to complete - ostensibly more than I could sacrifice during finals *grimaces*.  Anyhow, it's done now. Huge thanks to danimpa  for the beta (especially since this is not exactly her favourite pairing and she still managed to get it done in four seconds flat).  Oh, and this is dedicated to fegli  for recommending one of my fics over atpatdlove  (I've never been more flattered) and also for being so damn awesome - you know, in general.
